Seattle Cascades Need Volunteer Nurses

We are looking for nurses in Texas for July 15 to July 23, in Pennsylvania for August 1 to August 7, and in Indiana for August 8 to August 11.

This volunteer position is unpaid, but food, transportation, and housing is provided. It is recommended that you bring an air mattress, camping pad, sleeping bag, or other similar portable sleeping gear.

A license to practice in-state is required, as well as CPR and First-Aid certifications. Primary duties will include examination of students with illness and injuries and assisting our medical team with diagnosis and treatment of students.

The most common issues will be overuse injuries, colds/cold-like symptoms, and heat illness, and less common issues may include concussions, sprains, and muscle pulls.

Students are between 14 and 21 years of age, with the average age being 18.
