Responsibilities

Coordinate with Sound Designer on creative direction of the program

Coordinate and collaborate with Caption leads on mixing needs and rehearsal projects

Coordinate and collaborate with Audio Technician on shared goals for rehearsals

Remotely adjust MainStage settings and sample/patch levels

Remotely oversee and adjust mixer settings and master output levels in performances

Communicate mixer adjustments to Audio Technician

Obtain and manage backups of MainStage files and mixer settings

Responsibilities

Ensure all points of the audio system are fully prepared and functioning

Coordinate and deploy the use of wireless microphones
-
Operate mixer scene changes in rehearsals and performances

Be the first point-of-contact for membership and ensure performer’s equipment is fully functional

Implement mixer adjustments under direction of the Audio Lead
-
Perform software, firmware, and hardware updates on all digital devices in the audio system as needed
-
Repair or replace failed components within the system and/or communicate equipment needs efficiently to Audio Lead
-
Monitor power supplying devices and regularly check wattage usage
Requirements

Flexible and collaborative in the workplace

Deeply experienced with Yamaha digital consoles (QL/CL/TF)

Experienced with Shure wireless systems and Wireless Workbench

Basic understanding of electrical engineering
